Adaptive Paddle (Kayak)

Instructors from the Mississippi National River and Recreaton Area and Paddle Bridge Guide Collective will lead participants on a guided paddle of Pickerel Lake. Participants can expect to alternate between paddling and activities and games on shore. Tandem and solo kayaks with a variety of adaptive equipment will be available, including supported hand adaptations or specialized outriggers for balance. A kayak, paddle, and life jacket will be provided. Participants should bring water, a hat, weather appropriate clothes, shoes that can get wet, and sunscreen. Pickerel Lake is a small lake with abundant wildlife.
