Below is a list of all of our tool boxes. Clicking on any one will bring you to a page with all the details and materials on that particular tool box.

Launch Toolbox

The Launch Toolbox is full of useful information on how to announce the 1 Mississippi Campaign, including a Letter to the Editor, newsletter article, and press release.

 

Everyday Toolbox

The Everyday Toolbox contains documents to promote the 1 Mississippi Campaign for things that come up on a day-to-day basis.


Event Toolbox

The Event Toolbox has everything you need to host the 1 Mississippi Campaign exhibit at your River Event, including a newsletter article, a press release and a talking points document to be used by event volunteers.


Image Gallery

The image gallery has a collection of Mississippi River photos for members to use in reports, promotional materials and on web pages which will be added to often.

  • To download an image, first click on the photo. The image opens in a preview size. Each image is available to download in three different sizes: thumbnail (smallest), preview and original (biggest). To download an image on a standard PC, right click on the image of your choice and select “Save Image As.”  Then save the image to your desktop or folder.
  • Images are sorted into six categories: cities, industry-development, landscapes, people, pollution and wildlife. To find images with one of these specific tags, chose a category from the drop down menu at the top of the page.
  • If you have images that you would like to add to this image gallery, please contact us at asauer@biodiverse.org.

Using these instructions, you can place a web “banner” onto your website, which will promote and link to the 1mississippi.org website, helping drive both traffic and awareness. Currently, we have a vertical “skyscraper” banner that measures 160 x 600 pixels, a standard format for this type of banner.
