Mississippi River Community Celebration

The Mississippi River Community Celebration is part of the Mississippi River Paddle Weekend, open to everyone, and free to attend! You don’t have to be a paddler to experience this one-of-a-kind celebration, right on the banks of the Mississippi River.

Enjoy the live music from Lehto & Wright; cheer for paddlers as they cross the finish line; visit booths  from River-related groups and partners (listed below) and learn how you can protect and connect to the Mississippi River; check out the Father Hennepin Festival with carnival games, food, and a midway; stay for the awards ceremony at 5:30pm, and experience nature at Mississippi Crossings or one of the nearby parks.

You can also enter to win one of two saws or two t-shirts from Sven-Saw, one of four bags from Patagonia, or a book from Paddle Pilgrim! No purchase necessary. Sign up and details at the event, you must be present to win.
