The Farm Bill (or as we like to call it, the Food Bill) is an omnibus piece of legislation that comes up every five years and regulates everything from conservation to food stamps. It is very confusing.
Though the Farm Bill itself hasn’t come under question yet, Farm Bill issues are being discussed in the context of the federal budget. Protecting conservation programs in the Farm Bill means that not only are are farms protected from unsustainability, our streams and River, our parks and wildlife, stay safe.
