Mississippi River Community Celebration

The Mississippi River Community Celebration is part of the Mississippi River Paddle Weekend, open to everyone, and free to attend! You don’t have to be a paddler to experience this one-of-a-kind celebration, right on the banks of the Mississippi River.

Enjoy the live music from Lehto & Wright; cheer for paddlers as they cross the finish line; visit booths  from River-related groups and partners (listed below) and learn how you can protect and connect to the Mississippi River; check out the Father Hennepin Festival with carnival games, food, and a midway; stay for the awards ceremony at 5:30pm, and experience nature at Mississippi Crossings or one of the nearby parks.
