Mississippi River Paddle Weekend – MR150 Race Begins

June 7 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Paddling on the Mississippi is a sublime activity, and the Mississippi River Paddle Weekend has a plethora of Tours, Races, and Relays throughout the day for everyone from beginners to ultra-endurance athletes! The Mississippi River 150 begins on Friday, June 7th (details below). It can be paddled solo, tandem, or as part of a team. All other events take place on June 9th, 2024 and start times vary by event.

As of March 24, 2024, all events will end at Mississippi Point Park in Champlin, where, on Sunday afternoon, there will be live music, carnival rides, and food, and you can watch the boats paddle past the amphitheater to the finish line—spectators welcome (spectators do not need to register). There are rental canoes and kayaks available for the 5-mile events; for all other events contact our friends at Clearwaters Outfitting. They can rent you a boat and they’ll even pick it up at the finish line!
